When can I request to update a booking?
- If it's a direct booking request (e.g. the client booked you directly), you can "Update booking" anytime before you accept. You can chat with the client to discuss available times and update the booking details on your end.
- If it's a confirmed booking (e.g. you have already accepted it), you can "Update booking" anytime after you accepted. Note that all changes are subject to client confirmation.
Which booking details can I change?
- Booking date and / or time
- Treatment type (e.g. from Swedish / Relaxation to Remedial)
- Duration / Length of the treatment (from 60min to 90min)
How do I update the booking details?
Pending direct bookings
- Go to your Pro App, then select the job from Direct Booking Requests
- Select Update Booking
- Choose the category that you need by modify by selecting Change
- You will receive a notification that your request has been sent to your client for approval.
Confirmed bookings
- Go to Upcoming from your Pro App then select the job that you wish to update
- Select Update Booking
- Choose the category that you need to modify by selecting Change
- You will receive a notification that your request has been sent to your client for approval
Whether the client Approves or Declines the modification request, you will receive a notification from your app.
- Client Approves
- Simply go to your pro app to double-check the changes
- Client Declined - you will be prompted a message on how'd you like to proceed.
- If you can still make the booking, no further actions are required. You may keep it as is.
- If you're unable to proceed, please abandon the booking. (See also: Provider Cancellation (Abandonment) Policy)
How do I add on services requested by the client?
- Please navigate to the Upcoming tab -> List and click on the booking.
- Once you open the booking, please click on Add add-on. In the example below Aromatherapy is chosen as an add-on.
- After selecting Aromatherapy click "Add to booking"
- Once added you will receive a notification at the bottom of the page, that the update request is sent to the client.
- The client can accept/decline the update request.
- Once the client Accepts the request, your accepted update request notification is sent and the updated add-on service will be reflected on your app with an additional payout
How do I add on an item or treatment that’s not listed in the app?
- Please navigate to the Upcoming tab -> List and click on the booking.
- Once you open the booking, please tap Add add-on
- To add on the services that are not available on the Add-on list simply select Other.
- After entering the Name, Duration and the Price, please click "Add".
- After you press Add, the details will be shown at the bottom of the page as shown in the screenshot below.
- Then press "Add to booking" which will open the last page as shown below.
- After you check all the details, press "Confirm" and the changes will be sent as an update request to the client.
- You will receive a notification once the update request is successfully sent to the client.
- After the client accepts the update request your payout will be updated automatically according to your tier.
- For example, if you are on the Silver tier, there is a 30% license fee. This means that for an add-on service of $119, your payout will be $83.30, as shown in the highlighted screenshot below.
Can I offer an alternative appointment date and time to a client before I accept?
Yes, you can offer alternative dates and times for pending bookings even if they are not direct booking requests. Here's how that works:
