What is Stripe?

Stripe is the platform Blys uses to process payouts and payments safely, securely, and efficiently. While Stripe handles the payment process, it acts as an intermediary rather than a bank itself.

How Does It Work? 

If you’re a provider, Blys sends your payout to Stripe. Stripe then securely transfers the funds to your bank account or eligible debit card using standard banking channels such as ACH (USA), SEPA, Faster Payments , or wire transfers.

Depending on your bank or payment network, the deposit may appear under a different bank name. This is normal and does not affect the timing or amount of your payout.

If you’re a client, your payment goes to Stripe first, and Stripe then sends it securely to Blys.

Why do we use Stripe?

We use Stripe because it is a trusted and secure platform that allows payments to be processed safely over the internet. Stripe ensures that payouts and payments are handled efficiently while protecting your financial information and helping to prevent fraud.

• Legal First name and Legal Last name
• Date of birth (Should be at least 13 years)
• Valid Email and Mobile
• Valid Home address (includes line1, city, state, country, postal/zip code)
• ID verification (A valid Driver License or a Passport, make sure everything is showing)
• Bank account 

Documents Stripe needs for US pros.

• Legal First name and Legal Last name
• Date of birth (Should be at least 13 years)
• Valid Email and Mobile
• SSN (In case of US provider)
• Valid Home address (includes line1, city, state, country, postal/zip code)
• ID verification (A valid Driver License or a Passport, Front is enough as of now)
• Bank account (or Debit card, in case of US Pro)

• Valid Email and Mobile
• Valid Home address (includes line1, city, state, country, postal/zip code)
• ID verification (A valid Driver License or a Passport, make sure everything is showing)

How do I set up my payouts as a provider?

• If navigating via the web
  • Go to Pro Dashboard -> Payouts -> Setup payouts  
• If navigating via the app
  •  Go to Account -> Business -> Payouts -> Setup payouts
