How can I get a tax invoice / receipt?

Once your account is set up, there is an option for you to pick as to whether or not you want to receive emails about the payment receipts/remittance advice.


You can visit the "Payments" tab in your profile and scroll down to the "Send payment receipts/remittance advice" section to then turn on/off the setting.



Also, once the session you have booked has been completed, you can easily download a copy of your tax invoice to your email from your Blys mobile or web app.


Downloading your tax invoice/receipt


Via App

  • Log in to your Blys app.
  • Go to "Bookings" --> "Past Bookings" and click the booking that you need a copy of your tax invoice.





  • Click "View Summary". 
  • Click "Invoice for service fee" or "Invoice for Blys fee" at the bottom of the screen.
    • You can also change the format of the invoice. Please go to the Invoice format for more information.



  • Once you click on the invoice then the invoice will open on the app. You can then download or save the invoice to your device. 





Via Web

  • Log in to your web account: https://app.getblys.com/
  • Go to "Booking" --> "Past Bookings"
  • Select the booking where you need the invoice




  • Select "Invoice for service fee" or "Invoice for Blys fee" depending on which one you are after. 
    • You can also change the format of the invoice. Please go to the Invoice format for more information.
  • The receipt will be downloaded or opened on a new page depending on how the PDF format is setup for the browser.




Enable receipts/remittance advice.


Via App

  • Click on your account by tapping your "Profile photo"
  • Then select "Payment"


  • Go to "Send payment receipts/remittance advice"
    • Select Yes if you would like to receive receipts/remittance advice sent in an email 
    • Select No if you do not need us to email them
  • After you have chosen the option please go to the bottom of the page and Save the changes.




Via Web


  • Go to the "Payment" section and scroll down

  • Select "Send payment receipt/remittance advice" and select the option "Yes" or "No"


  • Once you choose press "Save" and you will receive the notification that it is updated.



Processing Fee


This fee helps us run our platform, facilitate payments, and provide customer support.  This is non-refundable and already includes GST.


You will only be charged this fee when your booking has been confirmed/ accepted by a provider.


Downloading the processing fee invoice


As of the moment, downloading the processing fee invoice is available in your web app. Simply log in to your account on our website and follow the steps below on how to download your invoice:


  • Go to "Past Bookings"
  • Select the booking for your invoice



  • Click the "Invoice for service fee"



  • You will be routed to another tab for your invoice (PDF copy) 





Invoice format


You can edit the format of the invoice that you wish to download by going to Payments > Invoice Format. 








The format of the invoice you can select is below:


  • Send service provider & Blys invoices in a single PDF

This combines the service fee of the provider and Blys fee in two invoices in a single PDF. 




  • Send service provider & Blys invoices as separate PDFs

This option is given to have the invoice separately downloaded for the invoice of the service provider and Blys fee




  • Send all amount owing in a single tax invoice

This combines the service fee of the provider and the Blys fee on one invoice.
