Can I update my bio/public profile?

Yes, you can!


Here's how:





  • Go to 'Pro dashboard' then Profile





  • Share a little about yourself - professional experience, services you offer, etc.
  • Click 'Save changes'




Please note that the name you have on your Blys profile must match the name on the Government ID that you have uploaded.

This is important because the first name, middle name, and last name you have on your profile will be the name used on the receipts generated for the clients that book with you or the clients you provide services to.

In simple terms, legal name can’t be changed - it gets verified & locked by Blys.


Providers can use the “preferred name” option if they want their clients to refer to them with a different name. “Preferred name” does not have to be their legal name. Preferred name is what the clients see on their end. If a preferred name hasn't been chosen or kept, the legal first name is used for their platform profile.


If the providers are sole traders and have a registered business name, they can use that name for their business. If they have a registered business name, that’s the name that goes on their invoices. Otherwise, if they don’t have a registered business name, their legal full name goes on their invoices. if they are registered as a company, then their company name goes on their invoices.
